All-New Hybrid MAX Powertrain

A true gamechanger, the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander represents a new era of efficient, family motoring. Three available powertrain options are available with the vehicle, highlighted by the high-output yet fuel-sipping 2.4L Hybrid MAX system that generates a net combined horsepower figure of 362 hp, and a highly respectable 400 lb-ft of torque. The other two options are the non-hybrid 2.4L turbo-charged four cylinder engine that generates 265 horsepower and a 2.5L hybrid system that generates a combined 243 net horsepower figure. 

Available Drive Mode Settings

Regardless of which powertrain you choose, all Toyota Grand Highlander models come equipped with three Drive Modes (Sport, Eco, Normal) that allow you to custom tailor your driving experience. Owners who opt for the gasoline and Hybrid MAX powertrains receive a vehicle equipped with a Multi-Terrain Select system with three modes (Mud & Sand, Rock & Dirt, Snow) that deliver enhanced on and off-road driving capabilities.
