Tacoma Trailhunter

The 2024 Tacoma Trailhunter is an all-new off-road ready variant that sits right below the TRD Pro in the truck’s lineup. According to Toyota, the Trailhunter was “specifically developed for off-the-grid overlanding adventures,” whereas the TRD Pro is more well-suited for “go-fast, desert running sprints.” As such, the Trailhunter receives trail-ready upgrades such as an Old Man Emu® suspension system, high-clearance trail exhaust tips and available ARB® accessories.

Tacoma TRD Pro

A staple in the Tacoma lineup, the range-topping TRD Pro comes equipped with everything you need to quickly blast through the rugged terrain. With its adjustable FOX® suspension system, ARB rear metal bumper and aluminum TRD front skid plate, the Tacoma TRD Pro is ready for whatever conditions you throw at it. Inside the vehicle are TRD Pro-specific styling accents, as well as IsoDynamic Performance Seats that soak up every bump and divot that the vehicle drives over.

Tacoma TRD Pro and Trailhunter Similarities

Both pickup trucks come equipped with an all-new 2.4-litre i-FORCE MAX turbocharged four-cylinder hybrid engine that generates 326 horsepower, 465 lb-ft of torque, and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Furthermore, both models feature a 3-inch wider stance with aggressive over fender flares that house the standard 18-inch wheels wrapped in beefy 33-inch Goodyear® Wrangler Territory R/T.
