Front-wheel drive (FWD) Toyota bZ4x L and LE models come equipped with a 71.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack mounted along the vehicle’s front wheels that deliver up to 406 km of all-electric driving range. Drivers who opt for the range-topping bZ4x XLE AWD model receive an extra lithium-ion battery pack that sends power to the rear wheels and receives an impressive, yet slightly lower 367 km range due to the all-wheel drive system. 2023 bZ4x L & LE models generate 201 horsepower and 198 lb-ft of torque from their single battery setup, while bZ4x XLE AWD models generate 214 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque.

Charge Time

All 2024 Toyota bZ4x models are compatible with Level 1, 2 and 3 charging stations. When plugged into a standard Level 1 120V household outlet, the vehicle takes around 50 hours to charge from low to a full charge. This charge time is greatly reduced to around 9 hours when plugged into a 240V Level 2 charger. These chargers are widely available at public charging stations and professional home installation can be arranged at the time of purchase. For the shortest charge time possible, plug into a 480V Level 3 DC Fast Charger and charge from 0 to 100% in as little as 30 minutes!

These seats are not only comfortable during the cold weather months, they’re also easy to clean and environmentally sustainable. For a more premium seating experience, ventilated mixed fabric and SoftTex front seats are exclusively available on the bZ4x XLE AWD model.
